R.I.S.E. – Relationships Integrity Scripture Education
An after-school program for Pre-K thru 6th graders focused on discipleship and education in a small group format. Students meet in groups of no more than 5-6 with a leader and assistant(s). Groups participate in Bible Study, activities/play/crafts, and tutoring (when needed). Students also enjoy snacks and a meal.
Monday & Wednesday 3:30-5:30 pm
L.I.T. – Leaders In Training
LIT is small group Bible Study, Food and Fun for Jr. High and High School students! Students engage in God’s Word in practical and applicable ways, while also building godly relationships through laughter and activities. Literally, LIT is ‘lit’!
Tuesdays 06:30-08:00pm.
Neighborhood Events
Periodically Kaleidoscope hosts larger community-style events to bless and bring joy to our neighbors. The Annual Trunk or Treat grows every year with the purpose to bless families with a safe night of fun and fellowship together. We also host Friends & Family Nights for those involved in our ministry (mentors, volunteers, parents, students and staff), it brings us together and helps us form deeper friendships and trust with one another.
Community/School Advocacy
Advocacy is one of our 3 main Functions. Our goal is to mobilize not only staff but volunteers, families and neighbors to use their voice and power to advocate for positive change in our community and schools. Actively participating in City Council meetings, City Boards/Commissions, School Board Meetings, and more are all ways the Kaleidoscope family strives to be about Kingdom work in our city. Family Advocacy
God provides opportunities to walk with families in ways that cannot be programmed. This is a blessing and opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and show that God cares about personal needs and loves us overwhelmingly. Examples include document recovery, help obtaining a driver’s license, housing stability, educational support and more!
