Give them a chance to learn to play!

We are looking for donations of new or used toys. The majority of the kids we work with have little to no imagination and have forgotten how to play. They have had to grow up too fast, they don’t have the money to buy toys and the ones they do have end up destroyed because they have never been taught to take care of something. So we would like to supply a play room at our building in order to teach our kids these things. 

We will accept any toys, indoor or outdoor. Just send me a comment and I will let you know where to drop them off or we can come pick them up.

This is a quick easy way to help and  it would be greatly appreciated!

Tutoring

The first week of tutoring went great and we are on to the next! It went better then we had planned, seeing that we are in a new building and have new tutors it could have been a  disaster but the kids did great.

We are still in need of more tutors. Here is an overview of what it looks like to be a KM tutor…

  • We pay $25 a session 
  • Tuesday/ Thursday from 3:45 – 5:00
  • Curriculum is provided and no prep is necessary
  • You are matched up with a child and tutor them one on one each week
  • We gladly welcome tutors that can only do it one of the two days
